A veteran of the life sciences industry, Scott has been a member of the leadership team at Percepta since it was founded in 2005. Embracing each new client project with a fresh and tailored approach, Scott relies on his background in R&D and marketing to lead and execute technical as well as strategic initiative projects to actionable completion. Scott possesses a deep understanding of strategic product development and marketing of biological research products and services. He is valued for his strategic vision, practical approach to product development and tactical marketing, and easygoing communication style.

Scott has held senior management roles in companies such as Stratagene, Taconic and Life Technologies (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) where he managed product development and strategic planning, created strategic partnerships and integrated acquisitions as VP of New Business Ventures. Specializing in technical market assessments, strategic planning and product development projects at Percepta, Scott received his technical training at The Evergreen State College and The University of Chicago.

Alison brings to Percepta broad and deep experience in international sales and the marketing of life science products and services. Widely regarded for her insightful approach, pragmatic attitude and marketing skills, Alison excels at both high-level strategy development and tactical execution.

Prior to founding Percepta, Alison held senior management and executive level positions in the US and the Netherlands with Invitrogen (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) and in the UK with British Biotechnology. Throughout her career in bioscience Alison has managed the areas of strategic planning, corporate identity, brand strategy and development, forecasting, product marketing, marketing communications, international distribution and acquisition identification, evaluation and integration. At Percepta, Alison specializes in customer, brand and message-focused client work across the broad life sciences field.

Originally from the UK, Alison speaks three European languages and received her BSc from UWE Bristol and – before embarking on a commercial career – performed research at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London.

Anne brings a unique combination of marketing, sales and technical savvy to Percepta where she leads technical market assessment and product development projects, engages key opinion leaders for personal interviews and conducts focus groups. Anne is regarded for her analytical, thoughtful and enthusiastic approach to strategic and tactical business challenges.

Anne is no stranger to the many technical facets of laboratory work. Coupled with her strong writing and presentation skills, this makes her a truly effective communicator to any audience including scientific executives and lay communities alike.

Prior to joining Percepta, Anne held senior and executive level management positions in life science companies such as Stratagene, Qbiogene/Bio101 and Oncor/Intergen (now Agilent, MP Biochemicals and Millipore, respectively) where she directed marketing, new product development, managed diverse product portfolios, integrated newly acquired businesses and established sales departments for national organizations. Specializing in technical market assessments and product development work at Percepta, Anne earned her BSc degree in Cell Biology and Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego.

Debra brings more than twenty years of corporate and consulting experience in strategic research, economic analysis and marketing analytics, which she has applied across a broad range of business problems and sectors. She has particular expertise in pricing optimization, product concept testing, market segmentation and econometric modeling. She offers an integrated approach to business problems, balancing the insights from research and analysis with a learned appreciation of real world constraints.

Debra began her professional career as a pricing strategist and economist for the L.M. Berry Company, a division of BellSouth. She was also director of research for marchFIRST, an e-business consulting company; and vice president of analytics of ThinkVine, a marketing science consultancy based in Cincinnati.

Debra Patek has an MA in Economics from the University of Cincinnati, where she also taught undergraduate and MBA economics. In addition, she has led a number of analytic workshops for the Professional Pricing Society and the American Marketing Association. She is also a member of the National Association of Business Economists.
